What does tachi mean?

The Tachi was a type of Japanese sword that preceded the famous Katana.  It was made during a time in Edo when there were few master craftsmen. The dutiful creation, incessant care, and proud possession of the Tachi blade was highly revered by both its creator and owner.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes we do and standard shipping is free. Cost of customs and duties will however have to be borne by you.

Do you have a physical store?

Not as yet but we will be available across reputed retailers shortly.

Do you have a return policy?

Yes, we offer a 14 day return or exchange policy with no questions asked as long as the product is not damaged or used. If you are not happy, neither are we.

Do you entertain corporate or wholesale enquires?

We review this on a case to case basis.  Please email Marika Baptista (marika@tachigoods.com) for further details.

Wear and tear, is my product damaged?

Our products are made to retain their natural characteristics as much as possible.  The brass will start to build a patina because of oxidation and the leather will have natural scuff and hide marks that are inherent to the animal.  This is not a mistake or a flaw of any kind.

Why is your range limited?

It takes us many months to develop a product and find the exacting materials for its production.  We will be adding new products in the coming months.

Can you customise a product?

We do not have the in-house capabilities to offer this service to individual orders at the moment.

Do you offer Cash on Delivery?

Yes we do, for a nominal charge of Rs.100.  However, this option is restricted to purchases and deliveries within India.
